[skilgr.] Tunnels are attached to seines to channel the fish into floating live cars or holding boxes. These tunnels are used in many configurations: rectangular, round, oval, straight, or tapered - with or without special designs. The most popular tunnel is made of nylon netting 4 to 6 feet long with a fiberglass hoop at each end; one for attachment to the seine and the other for attachment to the live car. There is a drawstring around the center.
